Dayara Bugyal trek is located in Bhagirathi peaks, Bandarpoonch, Black peak and many other peaks and it also has clear water streams flowing across it. Gidara Bugyal and Dayara Bugyal is one of the best alpine meadows of India which stretches from one snowy mountain peak to another. These meadows have a different scenery to offer in every season.
We will start our day long drive from Dehradun . We will pass through the towns of Rishikesh, Uttarkashi and Chamba to reach Raithal. Raithal is a small village, about 32 km from Uttarkashi. Raithal is our base camp. Overnight stay will be in a guest house at Raithal.
Today we will start our trek. It will be a normal ascend of 4kms.We will trek till Gui. It will take us through Silver Oak forests and Deodar. The view from Gui is with the lofty Himalayas to keep us company, Overnight stay in tents at Gui.
After having scrumptious Breakfast we will start our trek early in the morning at around 8 o’clock. Our destination for today is Barnala, from where the beautiful Dayara meadows starts. The trek is almost 3 hour long. From here you get a beautiful view of open sky and magnificent meadows. Over night stay at campsite.
We will pass through Baranala meadows to reach Dayara Bugyal. And its dense forests which will only give us glimpses of the Himalayas. As you start your ascent to Dayara. The meadow’s backdrop includes a lot of famous Himalayan peaks, such as, Gangotri I, II and III, Rudregaira, Draupadi ka Danda I and II, etc. After an hour of stay we will step down to Chilpada. It would be around 2 hours trek to reach the campsite. Overnight stay in tent.
Today we trek down to Barsu. The way passes through thick forests. We reach the village by afternoon.Overnight stay camp overnight.
We will depart from Raithal to Dehradun. your trek Dayara Bugyal trek. Pack-up your bags early at 7.00 am in the morning and take back some beautiful memorable moments and adventurous memories home with you.
